Detail:You’ve found your customers, built a business model, road tested your startup, and now you are ready to seek funding to get started. This Lesson, “Funding your startup”, provides an overview of the funding options available to startups, both public and private. It briefly explains what investors are searching for in a potential investment, and how an inventor can start thinking like an investor. The second part of the Lesson focuses on pitching to investors – in other words, how to make the case for funding your startup. It includes examples and explanations of the different kinds of pitches that entrepreneurs use.
