Process-related properties characterisation: Physical properties – 2 ECTS

Detail: The lesson focuses on the experimental methods used to characterize the physical properties of thermal energy storage materials. It provides both the theoretical background and description of the instrumentation and parameters that have to be measured. In particular, the lesson explains the techniques available to determine: structure and stability properties of PCMs, and also their mechanical properties, density, and porosity.
