Detail:This lesson presents the basic theory and methods for Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) algorithm. Some of the open challenges in the treatment of complex, multi-scale flows are also discussed. Hybrid MD and DSMC method is presented that use both advantages of both method. Lattice gas model and Lattice Boltzmann method are explained.
